Belarusian trampoline athletes win women’s team tournament at 3rd CIS Games

MINSK, Oct 3 (BelTA/APP): Belarusian athletes won the women’s team trampoline competition at the 3rd CIS Games in Sheki.

Trampoline athletes from five countries competed for medals in the women’s tournament, with each team consisting of three girls. Our team was represented by Katsiaryna Yarshova, Iana Lebedeva, and Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya. The Belarusians scored a total of 169.350 points for their routines and took first place, beating the silver medalists from Russia by 1.5 points. Athletes from Türkiye rounded out the top three,Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.

Apart from that, qualifying competitions in synchronized jumping took place in Sheki on 2 October. Iana Lebedeva and Katsiaryna Yarshova advanced to the women’s final on Friday while the Belarusian pair of Andrei Builou and Ivan Litvinovich won the men’s qualifying round. Katsiaryna Yarshova and Stanislau Yaskevich became finalists in the mixed event.
