PESHAWAR, Oct 02 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, in collaboration with Nutshell Group, hosted a corporate dinner at Governor House Peshawar on Thursday.
The event was attended by parliamentarians, Nutshell Group Founder and Chairman Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, Afghan Consul General Hafiz Mohibullah Shakir, Deputy Consul General of Iran, former Governor Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, former Federal Minister Najmuddin Khan, Chairman Red Crescent Society KP Farzand Ali Wazir, office-bearers of various chambers of commerce, and members of the business community.
Muhammad Azfar Ahsan praised the Governor for his warm hospitality.
In his address, Governor Kundi expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests and congratulated Nutshell Group and Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) on the successful organization of the Pakistan Business Summit in Peshawar.
He expressed hope that the summit would prove to be a milestone in opening new avenues of economic growth and investment, not only for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but for the entire country.
Governor Kundi emphasized the vision of making Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a hub of regional trade and business, underscoring the need for collaboration and trust between the business community and government institutions.
He highlighted the province’s rich natural resources and immense opportunities for both national and international investors.
He further stressed the importance of collective efforts for the development of the region and laying the foundation of a prosperous Pakistan.
Governor Kundi also pointed out the vast potential of religious tourism in the province, adding that promoting tourism could help project a positive image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the global level.
