ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP):Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, on Thursday said a government delegation is proceeding to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to address the concerns raised by the Awami Action Committee (AAC) on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Expressing grief over the loss of lives during recent unrest, the minister emphasized that dialogue is the only way forward. “Every major issue can be resolved at the negotiating table,” he remarked.
He said the delegation would listen to the grievances of the committee and assured that their legitimate demands would be considered in line with the prime minister’s guidance and in the best interest of the people of Kashmir.
The minister further expressed confidence that the leadership of the Awami Action Committee would engage in meaningful talks for the greater cause of Kashmir and hoped the matter would be resolved amicably at the earliest.
