ISLAMABAD, Jul 26 (APP):Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Chaudhry Masood Ahmed has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-257 Rahim Yar Khan -III by securing 36,532 votes.
According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) Muhammad Islam Aslam stood second by getting 26,953 votes. The third position was grabbed by PPPP’s Gul Jahanzaib with 24,371 votes.
The voters’ turnout was recorded at 58.72 %.
