RAWALPINDI, Oct 02 (APP):The Chuntra Police have apprehended a proclaimed offender wanted in terrorism and murder cases during a major operation.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesman on Thursday, the fugitive, along with his brother, had opened fire on a raiding police party, leaving an Elite Force assistant sub-inspector and a constable injured. His brother was already in custody.
Acting on technical and human intelligence, the Chuntra Police traced and captured the fugitive.
Superintendent of Police Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence.
He asserted that those who attack the lives of police personnel and citizens could not escape the clutches of the law.
