ISLAMABAD, Sept 23 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Tuesday, visited the Careem office in Dubai Media City and held an interactive session with Pakistani captains of the service.

Ambassador Tirmizi and his team were warmly welcomed by Mudassir Sheikha, CEO and Co-Founder of Careem and appreciated the ambassador for his desire to personally meet the captains acknowledge their contributions and pay them tributes for their dedication, a press release received here said.

He praised the ambassador’s easy accessibility and constant availability whenever approached by the Pakistani community.

Ambassador Tirmizi lauded the professionalism and resilience of the captains describing them as the true ambassadors of Pakistan.

“Through your service, commitment, and positive interaction with people of diverse nationalities, you are building a positive image of Pakistan. With your remittances, you not only support your families but also contribute to the progress of our homeland”, the press release quoted the ambassador as saying. Ambassador Tirmizi also appreciated Careem for its continued support to its workforce, including medical care, subsidized meals, refreshments, and reward programs for captains.

He congratulated the winner of the recently announced AED 50,000 prize, noting that such incentives reflect Careem’s commitment to the well-being of its employees.

The ambassador assured that any issues concerning the Pakistani workforce would be addressed in coordination with Careem management.

The Press Counsellor and Community Welfare Attaché of the Mission along with

senior members of Careem’s management team were also present during the session.

The CEO and Co-Founder of Careem also highlighted the role of captains in Careem’s journey by saying that the success of Careem was only made possible because of the dedication and hard work of these captains who were the backbone of the service.
