SARGODHA, Aug 28 (APP):The Directorate of Student Affairs, University of Sargodha, organised a meeting at the Multipurpose Hall Committee Room under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas.
The session was attended by deans, directors, and senior officers of the university. Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hasan, Director Student Affairs, presented the agenda and shared the performance report of his department.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas emphasized that students are the most valuable asset of any educational institution, as they play a decisive role in shaping the future of both the institution and the nation. He appreciated the discipline and hard work of the students of the University of Sargodha, crediting the Directorate of Student Affairs for its vital role in guiding students and transforming them into responsible citizens. He highlighted the department’s active involvement in major university events such as convocations, awareness programs, peace walks, community services, blood bank activities, and student support services. The Vice Chancellor expressed complete satisfaction with the performance of Deputy Directors of Student Affairs (DDSAs) and Campus Student Executives (CSEs), commending their contributions.
On the occasion, Director Student Affairs Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hasan Awan stated that under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor, the Directorate of Student Affairs has been reorganized along modern lines, and the DDSAs and CSEs are ensuring remarkable coordination for student guidance. He also encouraged students to approach the DSA office for assistance and support.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas distributed certificates of appreciation among outstanding DDSAs and CSEs for their excellent performance.
The meeting was also attended by Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Usman Minhas, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Rehana Ilyas, Director Academics, Dr. Uzma Shahzadi, Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director QEC Prof. Dr. Imran Ghafor Chaudhary, and Col. (R) Ishtiaq Ahmad.
