KOHAT, August 28 (APP)::District administration Kohat here on Thursday launched a crackdown on shops that are decanting and selling Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) violating the instructions of provincial government.
According to details, on the instructions of Commissioner Kohat Division, Moatasim Billah Shah, district administration has launched a full-scale operation against illegal LPG sellers.
A joint operation was carried out under the supervision of Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Kohat Shah Wazir and officials of Motor Vehicle Examination department.
During operation, shops selling LPG illegally established in the city were inspected and three shops were sealed on the spot for serious violations of rules.
Moreover, LPG cylinders were seized from dozens of rickshaws and public transport vehicles.
The administration has warned indiscriminate action against illegal LPG selling declaring decanting a serious threat to life and properties of people.
