SIALKOT, Aug 25 (APP):Minister of State for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani on Monday directed the authorities concerned to take appropriate measures to cope with flood situation.
In a statement, he directed all institutions to be ready for tackling emergencies.
He also directed district departments to keep a vigilance eye on flood situation and take appropriate measures in this regard.
The minister appealed people living near the bank of River Chenab to vacate their houses immediately in case of high flood in the river.
