KARACHI, Aug 25 (APP):Four ships, Ghat, Asia Inspire, Hyde Park and Nepta scheduled to load/offload Fuel oil, Palm oil, Chemicals, and LPG, berthed at FOTCO Oil Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, and Sui Southern Gas Terminal, respectively on Sunday.
Meanwhile, another ship, ‘Cartagena’ with Gasoline, also arrived at outer anchorage on the same day.
Ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Koulitsa-2, Aquavita Trust, and Ipsea Colossus are expected to sail today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 106,492 tonnes, comprising 91,583 tonnes import cargo and 14,909 export cargo carried in 355 Containers (318 TEUs Imports & 37 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Eight ships are at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Salt Lake and LIA & two more ships, Daphne and Al-Bert-P, carrying Soya Bean Seed, Coal, and Container are expected to take berths at FAP, PIBT, and QICT respectively on Monday, while two more ships, GFS Prime and Mraikh, with Container and LNG are due to arrive at Outer Anchorage on Tuesday.
