4 individuals rescued, 01 died while collecting garbage from the water

RAWALPINDI, Aug 20 (APP):At least five people were reported drowned in Bahria Town, Phase 7, while collecting garbage from the water here on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, five people were sitting on a thermopole sheet, collecting garbage, when it slipped and drifted into deep water near Shaheen Chowk, Bahria Town, Phase 7.

Rescue 1122 reached the spot and launched a relief and rescue operation. Four people were rescued, while one person died. With the help of scuba diving and a boat search, the body was recovered.
