GUJRAT, Jul 29 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, inaugurated a tree plantation campaign at Government Jamia High School, Gujrat.
She was warmly received by officials from the District Scouts Association and District Education Authority.
A ceremonial salute was presented by the band of Government Islamia High School Lalamusa, led by Band Incharge Ch. Riyasat Ali and Assistant Amir Iftikhar, alongside Scout Leader Asif Qamar.
District Scout Secretary Ch. Ehsanullah Ghuman welcomed the DC on behalf of the scouting community. Prominent attendees included CEO Education Authority Yaseen Khan Baloch, Divisional Director Ch. Muhammad Aurangzeb, Principal Jamia High School Ch. Shoukat Rauf Ahmed, Principal Higher Secondary School Gulyana Ch. Shehzad Ahmed Jakhar, Deputy DEO Ch. Azhar Iqbal, Assistant Director Muhammad Haris Butt, Madam Samreen Akhtar, Shabbir Ahmed Butt, and Ch. Ehsanullah of Kalra Kalan.
Addressing the participants, the deputy commissioner commended the active involvement of students, teachers, and scouts in environmental conservation and emphasized the importance of plantation drives for a greener, healthier Pakistan.
