BAHAWALPUR, Jul 29 (APP):The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran has emphasized that the university’s curriculum is being redesigned to incorporate modern educational trends, ensuring students are well-prepared to thrive in the global job market.
Talking to students and parents during his visit to the Central Admission Center at Abbasia Campus, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI), data sciences, and information technology across all university departments. He said, “In today’s world, there is ongoing worldwide discussion about artificial intelligence, which is being applied not only to scientific fields but also to social sciences and arts. We have formulated a plan to connect all departments with these cutting-edge technologies to keep our students at the forefront of innovation.”
Prof. Dr. Kamran announced that he will personally participate in the Board of Studies meetings for all departments to ensure the curriculum aligns with contemporary demands. “Our goal is to revamp the current curriculum swiftly, making it relevant to the needs of the modern era, so that our youth can secure maximum opportunities in the global marketplace,” he added.
The Vice Chancellor stressed the urgent need for curriculum reorganization to prevent Pakistan from falling behind other nations. “We must equip ourselves with the latest developments in artificial intelligence and data sciences to keep pace with global innovations,” he said. Highlighting his commitment to quality education, Prof. Dr. Kamran urged students and parents to prioritize admission to the university’s programs. He also directed that new students receive comprehensive career counseling and be informed about the market-driven skills required for today’s job landscape. He reaffirmed the university’s dedication to providing a modern, competitive education that enables graduates to confidently serve both domestic and international institutions.
