LARKANA, Jul 28 (APP):Mayor Larkana advocate Anwar Ali Luhur held a meeting on the instructions of MPA Jameel Ahmed Soomro on Monday to discuss preparations regarding the possible monsoon rains.
The meeting was attended by President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) City District Larkana and Special Assistant Khair Muhammad Sheikh, Deputy Mayor Muhammad Amin Sheikh Town Chairman Darri Shahrukh Siyal and others.
It was reiterated to carry out desilting of drains across the city using available machinery and manpower, along with making necessary arrangements at pumping stations.
The performance of elected local representatives during the recent heavy rains in the city was commended, while further efforts were emphasized. Rain emergency teams were also formed on the occasion.
Union Committee Chairmen, including Munir Ahmed Soomro,Babar Abro, Muhammad Ibrahim Khoso, Naeem Ahmed Tanio, Rafiq Kirmani, Sajid Domki, and Muhammad Qasim Brohi, representatives from Genso Company, UC Secretaries, and municipal officers also participated in the meeting.
