MULTAN, Jul 27 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Multan Zone has apprehended three suspects, including a most-wanted person, involved in human trafficking and visa fraud on Sunday.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects were identified as Feroz Qaiser Sagu, Muhammad Azam, and Muhammad Wazir. The suspects were allegedly involved in defrauding innocent citizens by promising overseas employment and extorting large sums of money. Feroz Qaiser was arrested during a raid in Khanewal. He is listed among the most wanted human traffickers and faces nine cases registered in FIA Multan Zone, in addition to money laundering charges. Multiple cases have also been registered against him in the Faisalabad Zone. Investigations revealed that the accused collected over Rs 8.2 million from citizens on the pretext of sending them to Dubai and Saudi Arabia for employment.
Meanwhile, accused Muhammad Azam allegedly extorted Rs 600,000 from a citizen by offering fake employment in Azerbaijan, while Muhammad Wazir collected Rs 2.36 million from multiple victims, promising jobs in Dubai. The suspects failed to fulfill their promise and went into hiding after receiving money.
