LAHORE, Jul 27 (APP):Coordinator to Federal Tax Ombudsman Saif Ur Rehman said on Sunday that Pakistan’s Chaunsa mango, famed for its irresistible sweetness, rich aroma, and juicy, fiberless texture, has gained immense popularity across international markets.
Talking to a delegation of food exporters, he said Chaunsa, often hailed as the “King of Mangoes,” stands out for its honey-like flavor and smooth pulp. Originating from Punjab, particularly Multan and southern regions of the province, the golden-yellow fruit has become a favorite in global markets including the Middle East, Europe, and North America. He noted that the worldwide demand for Chaunsa mangoes is rising rapidly due to their exceptional quality and unique taste. Exporters must seize this opportunity by ensuring the supply of premium-grade mangoes that retain their freshness throughout the export process.
“Social media and international food bloggers have further elevated Chaunsa’s global recognition, often praising its unmatched flavor,” he added.
Saif Ur Rehman said that as Pakistan works to strengthen its agricultural exports, Chaunsa mangoes continue to serve as a flagship product, enhancing the country’s image and contributing significantly to economic growth. “Its soaring popularity promises a sweet and prosperous future for both farmers and exporters,” he added.
