LAHORE, Jul 26 (APP):Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone arrested a person involved in hawala and illegal currency exchange operations on Saturday.
According to FIA officials, the accused, Muhammad Umar, was arrested from Shah Alam Market, Lahore, and found to be involved in illegal transactions worth millions of rupees.
During the raid, FIA recovered Rs 5.95 million in cash, along with hawala receipts and other digital evidence from the suspect. Umar has been taken into custody, and investigations are underway. Further raids are being conducted to apprehend other accomplices involved in the illegal network.
