KARACHI, Jul 26 (APP):Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Awais Qadir Shah has said that President Asif Ali Zardari is the architect of reconciliation and a symbol of democracy.
In his message on the occasion of President Asif Ali Zardari’s 70th birthday, he said that President Asif Ali Zardari ensured the passage of the 18th Constitutional Amendment, restoring the 1973 Constitution in its true spirit.
In challenging times, the President raised the slogan of ‘Pakistan Khappay’ and safeguarded the integrity of the country.
He laid the foundation of vital projects like Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline and CPEC, which stood as milestones for Pakistan’s economy, the Speaker said.
He said that the President Zardari always took decisions in the national interests.
