ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP): Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Tuesday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former governor of Punjab Mian Muhammad Azhar.
In a condolence message, the minister said Mian Azhar’s political and national contributions would be long remembered, noting his lifelong dedication to public service and dignified political conduct.
Aleem Khan called him a respected statesman and a man of integrity.
Offering prayers for the departed soul, he said, “May Allah Almighty grant the late Mian Azhar the highest place in His mercy and bless the bereaved family with patience and strength during this difficult time.”
Mian Muhammad Azhar – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and former governor of Punjab – passed away in Lahore today after a prolonged illness.
