Empowering Youth: Merged Areas Digital Connect program Launched

PESHAWAR, Jul 22 (APP):PESHAWAR, July 22 (APP): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Science and Information Technology, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz Tuesday inaugurated “Merged Areas Digital Connect” program in Jamrud, District Khyber.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local political representatives, tribal elders, youth, students and members of civil society.
 Dr. Shafqat Ayaz stated that the program aims to integrate the merged districts into the national development stream by providing facilities to youth in the sectors of education, health and information technology.
 He told that this is the third inauguration under Merged Areas Digital Connect initiative. Similar centers have already been launched in Bajaur and Orakzai, where regular activities are underway and youth are being provided digital training.
 The local community, political figures, and youth expressed their gratitude to CM aide and said that for the first time, their region is being equipped with modern education and digital training facilities.
 Dr. Shafqat Ayaz reaffirmed the government’s commitment that this program would be expanded phase-wise to all merged districts establishing IT hubs, freelancing courses, digital learning platforms, and modern facilities in each district.
