ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP):Shifa International Hospital has organized a free medical camp to support individuals affected from the recent monsoon rains and flood.
A team of experienced specialists from Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine provided comprehensive health services at the camp established at Fauji Colony Rawalpindi.
Over 320 patients consulted and received free health assessment, free medical check-ups, expert consultations, and essential medicines.
The initiative aimed to deliver immediate and accessible healthcare to vulnerable populations impacted by the torrential rains, ensuring timely treatment of prevalent health concerns such as waterborne illnesses, respiratory infections, and other post-flood medical conditions.
“Shifa International Hospital remains steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and promoting community welfare,” said a hospital spokesperson.
He added, “Through such initiatives, we not only address the immediate health needs of affected communities but also strive to restore hope and resilience in challenging times.”
