South Asian countries urged to shun confrontation for prosperity of people, region : Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD, Apr 7 (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting and National Heriatge, Senator Pervaiz Rashid Thursday urged the South Asian countries to shun confrontation and pursue a policy of cooperation for welfare of the peoples and prosperity of the region.
He stated this during a meeting with Bangladeshi Media delegation which called on him here.

“Instead of beating the past, we should make concerted efforts and evolve a regional response to the challenges facing the region including terrorism, extremism, poverty and good governance.”
