PM felicitates Hafiz Abdul Karim on his election to Senate seat

ISLAMABAD, July 21 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday congratulated and expressed his best wishes to Hafiz Abdul Karim, a PML-N candidate in the Punjab Assembly, on his election to Senate seat.

The prime minister expressed that Hafiz Abdul Karim would play his active role in the supremacy of constitution and prosperity of the country, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

He further observed that election to Senate seats was a continuation of the democratic system.

The role of senators for the strength of federating units and observance of democratic norms was very important, he added.
