Sardar Yousaf welcomes Hafiz Abdul Kareem’s election to Senate from Punjab

ISLAMABAD, July 21 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Monday extended warm congratulations to Dr Hafiz Abdul Kareem on his election to the Senate from Punjab, praising his long-standing services to the country and the Muslim Ummah.

Sardar Yousaf said Dr Kareem’s past contributions are commendable, particularly in the realm of Hajj management and strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.

“His entry into the Upper House will further enhance the dignity and stature of the Senate,” the minister remarked, adding that Dr Kareem has always been a trusted aide of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Highlighting Dr Kareem’s tenure as Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony during the previous government, Sardar Yousaf noted his pivotal role in improving Hajj arrangements and promoting Pakistan’s ties with Saudi Arabia.

The minister expressed hope that Dr Kareem would continue to serve the nation with the same dedication and integrity in his new role as a senator.
