LAHORE, Jul 18 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of a tragic firing incident in the Bhoun Road area of Kahuta, Rawalpindi, which resulted in the deaths of four individuals.
According to the spokesperson for Punjab Police, the IGP has sought a detailed report from the regional police officer Rawalpindi, and instructed the city police officer to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved.
Dr. Usman Anwar emphasised that all available resources must be utilised to apprehend the suspects at the earliest.
CPO Rawalpindi revealed that preliminary investigations suggest the incident stemmed from an old enmity. Special police teams have been constituted to track down and arrest the perpetrators.
The deceased have been identified as Junaid Gul, Mateen Kayani, Shoaib and Samar Iqbal.
