ISLAMABAD, Jul 18 (APP): Senior politician and former federal minister Mohammad Ali Durrani met Denis Nevzorov, the newly appointed head of Russia’s Trade Department in Pakistan, to extend congratulations on his new assignment and convey best wishes to President Vladimir Putin.
According to a press release, Durrani welcomed Nevzorov to Pakistan and congratulated him on assuming charge as head of Russia’s Trade Department in Islamabad, noting the significance of his appointment for bilateral relations.
The two discussed enhancing people-to-people ties and expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, agriculture, and economic development.
Durrani welcomed potential Russian investment in Pakistan Steel Mills and highlighted the value of Russian technology in boosting Pakistan’s agricultural sector. He emphasized that stronger Pakistan-Russia relations are vital for regional and global peace and prosperity.
Nevzorov appreciated Durrani’s vision and reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to deepening trade relations with Pakistan.
