Dera Ismail Khan , Jul 18 (APP):Four state-of-the-art operation theater units have been established at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Dera Ismail Khan to enhance surgical care and improve healthcare delivery for patients in the region.
Equipped with the latest medical technology and modern surgical equipment, the new operation theaters mark a significant step forward in providing quality healthcare services in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to hospital officials, these advanced surgical units are the first of their kind available from Kohat to the southern belt, making Dera Ismail Khan a central hub for modern surgical facilities.
Hospital administration expressed confidence that the new units will not only cater to the growing healthcare needs of the local population but also serve patients from neighboring districts seeking specialized surgical treatment.
“These modern operation theaters are a major milestone in improving patient care standards in the region,” said a hospital official. “We are committed to ensuring accessible, safe, and efficient medical services for all.”
The initiative reflects the government’s broader efforts to upgrade healthcare infrastructure and expand access to modern medical treatment across underserved areas.
