ISLAMABAD, Jul 17 (APP):Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, held a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Pakistan, Rongvudhi Virabutr.
The meeting centered on mutual areas of interest, including women empowerment, tourism, preservation of cultural and heritage sites, human rights, and Legal cooperation.
The Law Minister appreciated the role of the Thai Government in promoting women empowerment in Pakistan through skill-based training programs.
He highlighted that the role of women in Pakistan was evolving, with more women stepping into active roles across various sectors, reflecting a positive shift in societal dynamics.
The discussion also focused on tourism and the preservation of cultural heritage. Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar praised Thailand’s achievements in tourism and admired the country’s efforts in preserving its cultural identity.
Both sides expressed willingness to enhance cooperation in multiple fields, particularly in the promotion of Human Rights, Legal development, and the conservation of cultural assets.
The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to explore further avenues of collaboration for the benefit of both countries.
