DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 16 (APP):In light of the ongoing monsoon season and potential flood threats, Rescue 1122 Regional Director Operations South, Imran Khan Yousafzai, conducted a surprise visit to the district emergency service and reviewed its preparations.
During the visit, paid on the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Dr. Tayyab Abdullah, District Emergency Officer Engineer Fasihullah welcomed the Regional Director and gave a detailed briefing on operational preparedness.
Yousafzai observed ongoing water rescue mock drills at the Indus River and personally inspected the skills of rescue personnel and the functionality of their equipment while aboard a rescue boat.
He expressed satisfaction over the professionalism and readiness of the rescue teams, assuring them of continued departmental support.
Additionally, he visited the under-construction rescue station near the Indus River to assess the progress of development work.
The visit underscored Rescue 1122’s commitment to maintaining full preparedness to protect lives and property in the face of any emergency during the monsoon season.
