QUETTA, Jul 15 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sibi Jahanzeb Sheikh on Tuesday formally inaugurated the computerised system of local and domicile certificates for taking another step towards improving civic amenities.
He said that under this modern system, citizens would now be issued local and domicile certificates online and computerised instead of traditional paper-based procedures, which would significantly improve transparency, speed and public convenience.
Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner Bakhtiarabad Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the DC said that this initiative is an important milestone for the convenience of the public and improvement of the system.
He added that the district administration is committed to making public services fast, easy and transparent through the use of modern technology.
He directed the staff to resolve the problems of the citizens immediately and ensure effective implementation of the system.
Citizens appreciated the initiative and said that it would help save time and prevent corruption.
