PESHAWAR, Jul 11 (APP):Director General of NIPA/PARD/PPSA, Captain (Retired) Usman Gul has said that in today’s era, public expectations from the bureaucracy have significantly increased.
He said the foundation of national development depends on the role of a professional bureaucracy.
He expressed these views while addressing the closing ceremony of the 43rd Domain-Specific Mid-Career Management Course held at the Pakistan Provincial Services Academy (PPSA), Peshawar. Faculty members and staff from all three training institutions were present on the occasion.
The Director General emphasized that special components of the four-week MCMC, such as professional training courses, play a vital role in refining officers’ capabilities so they can effectively deal with the challenges facing the country.
He stressed that officers serving the public should adopt a friendly attitude toward citizens and dedicate all their capabilities to the service of the nation.
He urged the graduating officers to perform their duties with honesty, discipline, and commitment.
The Director General paid tribute to the Secretary Establishment Division, Inamullah Khan Dharejo, for his strong guidance and support. He said that the Secretary has provided visionary leadership to the NSPP and its affiliated NIPA institutions and extended all possible support.
The Director General also appreciated the efforts of the PPSA faculty, staff, and administration for playing a key role in the successful execution of the course.
On this occasion, the Chief Instructor of the MCMC (Domain Specific), Muhammad Taj Hameed, presented the course report to the Director General.
