HARIPUR, Jul 11 (APP):In a major breakthrough against drug trafficking, the Excise and Narcotics Police Hazara carried out a successful operation on GT Road Haripur, resulting in the seizure of 336 kilograms of high-quality Hashish.
The operation, led by Additional SHO Naseem Khan under the supervision of SHO Faisal Khan, took place at around 3 a.m. when a suspicious vehicle a new Honda Civic was intercepted. Upon inspection, the police discovered a massive consignment of charas concealed within the vehicle.
According to SHO Faisal Khan, the estimated market value of the seized narcotics in Pakistan is approximately Rs. 33.6 million.
This marks another significant achievement for Additional SHO Naseem Khan, who has once again broken his own record in intercepting a large quantity of narcotics.
The vehicle has been taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to trace the source and intended destination of the drugs.
