QUETTA, Jul 10 (APP):On the occasion of World Population Day, Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, emphasized the critical importance of maintaining a balance between population growth and available resources to build a stable, prosperous, and developed society.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the Balochistan government remains committed to ensuring the welfare of its citizens by focusing on the provision of essential services such as healthcare, education, employment, and other basic facilities.
“A moderate and balanced population is directly linked to economic growth, optimal utilization of natural resources, and the achievement of sustainable development goals,” said CM Bugti. He underscored the government’s belief that an informed and responsible society is the key to a better future, which is why public awareness, strategic planning, and social upliftment are at the center of policy efforts.
He added that a coordinated strategy regarding population issues is essential for building a Balochistan where every individual has equal opportunities for growth and a higher quality of life, where resources are utilized fairly, and every family can live with dignity.
The Chief Minister reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to meet development goals and build a prosperous, healthy, and aware Balochistan. “A healthy and dignified life is the right of every citizen,” he said, “and we are determined to ensure the realization of that right.”
