Citizens breathed sigh of relief due to police action against ‘King of House Robberies”: CPO told

RAWALPINDI, Jul 10 (APP):Citizens and civil society representatives at a Khuli Kachehri (open court) held by CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani appreciated the performance of Rawalpindi Police against drug suppliers and the measures to prevent house robberies.
“We breathed a sigh of relief due to the police action against the King of House Robbery Shakeel Kiani and his gang, and celebrated this Eid peacefully,” they told City Police Officer (CPO) Hamdani.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, the open courts held at Chaklala and Morgah police stations were attended by Superintendent of Police Potohar Talha Wali, SDPO Civil Line, SHOs and investigation officers.
The citizens, civil society and representatives of the traders’ association observed that with the hard work of Rawalpindi Police, “our young generation is being protected from drugs”.
CPO Hamdani said the Rawalpindi Police were using all resources to protect the lives and property of citizens as well as to provide justice to them at their doorsteps.
He issued orders for immediate action on the requests of citizens. He also ordered to register a case on the request of a citizen regarding a dispute.
