SARGODHA, Jul 10 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Thursday caught a fake milk production unit during a raid in Bhalwal.
According to Press release issued by PFA office, the team conducted a surprise
raid in Bhalwal and uncovered a fake milk production unit operating secretly inside
a residential house.
The operation resulted in the immediate arrest of accused and the lodging
of a First Information Report (FIR).
The unit was reportedly manufacturing counterfeit milk using skimmed milk powder
and vegetable oil.
During the raid, the team confiscated large quantities of raw materials, including 40-kg
of vegetable oil, 80-kg of skimmed milk powder, and the machinery.
