ISLAMABAD, Jul 8 (APP):Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday visited the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad and called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
During the meeting, matters related to maritime security, operational readiness of Pakistan Navy, and its strategy during the recent Pakistan-India conflict were discussed, said a press release.
The interior minister lauded Pakistan Navy’s high level of operational preparedness during the operation MARKA-E-HAQ and commended its successful role in defending the country’s maritime frontiers against Indian aggression.
Naqvi appreciated the professional competence and unwavering commitment of the naval personnel in safeguarding national maritime interests.
