ISLAMABAD, Jul 08 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Khanna Police Station team has arrested two wanted members of a notorious snatcher gang involved in street crimes, bike lifting, and drug peddling in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Tuesday that the accused identified as Adnan and Ataullah were involved in a series of snatching incidents and were already wanted in several cases.
He said the police team recovered eight stolen motorcycles, snatched mobile phones, cash, narcotics, and weapons from their possession during the operation.
He said separate cases had already been registered against the arrested accused and further investigation was underway.
SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan directed all officers to continue an effective crackdown against criminal elements and take every possible step to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He said that no criminal element would be allowed to disrupt the peace and security of the federal capital.
