PESHAWAR, Jul 07 (APP):Commissioner, Right to Public Services (RTS) Commission, Justice Muhammad Asim Imam briefed in detail the local judges and lawyers regarding the Right to Public Services Act in Mardan on Monday .
The session was attended by the District and Sessions Judge, President of the District Bar and other officials.
Asim Imam highlighted the performance of the Commission from its inception to the present day. He emphasized that one of the primary objectives of establishing the Commission was to ensure affordable and sustainable justice for the public. The commission is currently handling cases related to public services, which in turn helps reduce the burden on the judiciary.
He stated that access to basic services is a fundamental right of the people, not a favor from the government. The commission is striving to ensure timely delivery of services to citizens without any fees. Additional steps are being taken to improve service delivery and effectively meet public needs.
Commissioner Asim Imam also visited the office of the District Monitoring Officer of the RTS and instructed staff to enhance the quality of services being provided to the public.
