ISLAMABAD, July 02 (APP): The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Wednesday announced that the mandatory registration process for Hajj 2026 is currently in progress and will continue until July 9, 2025.
According to the Ministry’s spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, the intending pilgrims can register through the ministry’s official online portal or by visiting any of the 15 designated banks across the country. “Only registered individuals will be eligible to apply under either the government or private Hajj scheme,” he clarified.
The spokesperson said the ministry also urged overseas Pakistanis holding a valid Pakistani passport to complete their registration promptly via the online portal to ensure their eligibility for the pilgrimage. “Registration from Pakistan is mandatory for all those intending to perform Hajj 2026,” he emphasized.
Umar said details regarding the cost of the Hajj package and other terms and conditions will be issued separately in accordance with the Hajj Policy 2026.
