Incidents of terrorism decreasing, Azam Khan briefed

ISLAMABAD, June 12 (APP):Caretaker interior minister, Azam Khan Tuesday visited National Counter
Terrorism Authority (NACTA) headquarters and was briefed about steps being taken
to bring Madaris into mainstream.
National Coordinator of NACTA Ihsan Ghani in a briefing
informed the minister about numerous measures adopted under National Action Plan (NAP).
The minister was further informed that because of
comprehensive strategy and proactive steps, incidents of terrorism were decreasing.
Briefing was also given on National Internal Security Policy which has
been jointly prepared by Ministry of Interior and NACTA.
