PESHAWAR, Jul 02 (APP):A one-day free medical camp was successfully organized in the Mohmand Abad area of the provincial capital here on Wednesday under the supervision of the district administration and with the support of local philanthropists.
The initiative aimed to provide free medical check-ups and essential healthcare services to underprivileged and deserving individuals.
Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Sarmed Salim Akram visited the camp and interacted with the patients to listen to their concerns.
He praised the services of the doctors and support staff, stating that the Peshawar district administration gives top priority to public welfare initiatives at every level.
A team of specialist doctors examined over 700 patients during the camp and provided medicines according to the diagnosed conditions.
Local residents appreciated the initiative and thanked the administration for addressing their healthcare needs.
Among the key volunteers who contributed their services on this occasion were social activist Malik Bilal Ayaz, Dr Ayesha, Dr Komal, Dr Ahad, Dr Salman, and Haji Azam. They treated patients with utmost sincerity and a strong spirit of community service.
According to the Peshawar district administration, similar medical camps will be expanded to other areas to ensure free healthcare access for a larger number of people across the region.
