RAWALPINDI, Jul 01 (APP): Senior Civil Judge, Waqar Hussain Gondal has issued deportation orders for an Afghan citizen named Wali Jan Afghani, who was arrested by the police in the Mandhra area.
According to the details, the police presented Wali Jan before the court, requesting his deportation due to his involvement in multiple criminal cases.
Wali Jan faces several charges including attempted murder, terrorism, and other offenses registered at various police stations. He was specifically detained in connection with an attempted murder case at the Saddar (Bairooni) police station.
Investigation also revealed that his Afghan citizen card, permitting residency in Pakistan, had expired. Earlier, 42 members of Wali Jan’s family were deported to Afghanistan in the last week.
During a raid on his residence, police took 49 Afghan nationals into custody, including 35 children and 12 women, who were among those deported.
