PESHAWAR, Jul 01 (APP):Federal Minister Engr Amir Muqam here Tuesday said that targeting legal properties was an attempt to cover PTI Govt failure after Swat tragedy.
In a press statement here, Federal Minister and President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, strongly criticized the retaliatory actions by the provincial government targeting people’s legal and owned properties following the Swat tragedy, calling it an attempt to cover up its own incompetence.
“The operation in Swat under the pretext of encroachments, which has damaged people’s legal and rightful properties, is condemnable,” he said.
He said the provincial government was creating a crisis of ‘tourism destruction’ to hide its failures, which is deeply regrettable and shameful.
“Demolishing the boundary wall of my legally owned hotel is an act of political revenge and a failed attempt to divert attention from the real issue,” said Amir Muqam
The Minister reiterated that all legal documents, ownership papers, NOC, and the approved map of his hotel were available and sanctioned by the relevant authorities, adding he will pursue legal action.
He expressed solidarity with Haji Jalat Khan and all others who have faced injustice and whose legal and rightful properties have been harmed.
He said KP Govt was trying to divert attention of masses after 18 tourists were washed by flash flood in Swat due to sheer negligence of the PTI rulers.
