GUJRAT, Jun 28 (APP):Rescue-1122 Gujrat has been placed on high alert in connection with Muharram-ul-Haram to ensure a prompt response in case of any emergency or untoward incident across the district.
On the directions of District Emergency Officer (DEO) Umar Akbar Ghuman, leaves of Rescue-1122 personnel have been cancelled to maintain maximum operational readiness during religious gatherings, processions, and Majalis throughout the month.
Rescue teams will remain deployed at key locations to provide emergency medical coverage, firefighting, and rescue services. All available resources are being mobilized to ensure preparedness.DEO Ghuman said that Rescue 1122 is fully committed to providing timely and effective assistance to citizens, ensuring public safety and order during Muharram.
The Rescue 1122 control room will remain functional round-the-clock, and citizens have been advised to dial 1122 in case of any emergency.
