ISLAMABAD, Jun 25 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad on Wednesday formally indicted three individuals in a case related to the November 26 protest.
The case was registered at Karachi Company Police Station, and the court has summoned prosecution witnesses for the next hearing.
Hearing the case, Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of the Anti-Terrorism Court indicted three accused in a case concerning the November 26 protest. The FIR was lodged at Karachi Company Police Station, naming several PTI leaders and workers.
During the hearing, lawyers Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan and Amna Ali appeared before the court to represent the accused. After the indictment, the judge summoned prosecution witnesses to record their statements at the next hearing.
The case has now been adjourned until July 13.
PTI leaders Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur are also among those nominated in the same case. However, the court has not yet received challans (charge sheets) for them. Bushra Bibi remains on interim bail in the matter.
The FIR against PTI members and supporters was filed in connection with a protest held on November 26.
