ISLAMABAD, Jun 24 (APP): Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Tuesday inaugurated a new Interactive Display System at the Election Commission Secretariat, aimed at providing lawyers and litigants with instant access to essential details of their legal cases.
Located at the ECP Secretariat reception for public and legal practitioners, this facility enables viewing daily cause lists, accessing comprehensive case details, including petitions, replies, order sheets, and judgments.
The Chief Election Commissioner while inaugurating the system hailed it as a significant milestone and commended the dedicated efforts of the Project Management Unit.
During the event, the ECP’s Law Wing provided a briefing on the cases uploaded to date and explained the purpose of the interactive display system, installed to serve the public.
The Project Director delivered an in-depth presentation to the Chief Election Commissioner on the ongoing progress of the Legal Case Management System (LCMS) during the meeting.
The Secretary, Special Secretary, Special Secretary (Law), Project Director (PMU), Director General (IT), and Deputy Director (Law) were in attendance.
