SARGODHA, Jun 23 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Jahanzeb Awan on Monday presided over a meeting to review the progress, targets and public facilities of ongoing development
projects in the district.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Capt (R) Muhammad Waseem, Director Development Bilal Hassan, and representatives from various departments.
During the meeting, the Commissioner was briefed on the performance of
development projects, challenges faced and future plans.
He directed that all projects be completed within stipulated period without compromising on quality.
The Commissioner emphasized the need for effective inter-agency cooperation and regular field visits.
The meeting also discussed urban facilities and their impact.
Commissioner Jahanzeb Awan directed the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) officials to provide details on parks across the district, including their size, location, and current condition.
Regarding traffic management, the Commissioner stressed the need for expediting the relocation of private bus stands near Highway 47 flyover.
He directed the Deputy Commissioner to summon the owners concerned and apprise them of public reaction and traffic problems in the city.
