Stage play “Faiz Ka Faiz” concludes

LAHORE, Jun 23 (APP):The Lahore Arts Council proudly concluded its three-day theatrical production, “Faiz Ka Faiz”, a compelling stage play that celebrates the life and legacy of the globally renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
Presented in collaboration with Aks Theatre under the direction of Afzal Nabi, the play became a cultural highlight at Alhamra Hall, drawing large and appreciative audiences.
“Faiz Ka Faiz” masterfully portrayed the emotional, political, and poetic dimensions of Faiz’s life, resonating deeply with viewers and reaffirming theatre’s power as a medium of intellectual and artistic expression.
The cast featured powerful performances by Syed Zeeshan Haider, Erum Naveed, Zoya Qazi, Zaheer Taj, Aman Iqbal, Jahanzeb Mustafa, Mazhar Khalid, Tanveer Khalid, Sundus Mehmood, Umar Khalid, Muneeb Mani, Ali Raza, Jamshed Anjum, Usama Ameer, Yaseen Mehmood, and Zain Ali.
Alhamra Chairman Razi Ahmed said, “This production aimed to provide theatre lovers with a meaningful, high-quality play rooted in literary depth and cultural consciousness.”
Alhamra Executive Director Syed Touqeer Haider Kazmi said, “Through such efforts, Alhamra is reviving true essence of stage drama, bridging classical tradition with contemporary relevance.”
