RAWALPINDI, Jun 20 (APP): Senior leader PML N Tahira Aurangzeb, MNA along with Deputy Commissioner Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema, inaugurated Clinics on Wheels Phase 2 at the Commissioner’s Office on Friday.
Phase 2 comprises 25 vehicles, including 6 equipped with ultrasound facilities and 19 are medicines provided. Each vehicle is staffed with a doctor and a dispenser to deliver medical treatment directly to communities.
Tahira Aurangzeb inspected the new vehicles, reviewing the list of medicines, available medical supplies, emergency food provisions for malnutrition and medical equipment.
Speaking at the inaugural, Tahira Aurangzeb appreciated the dedication of the medical staff and directed them to serve with commitment.
She emphasized that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is actively working to ensure accessible, high-quality healthcare services through initiatives like Clinics on Wheels, which brings treatment and medical facilities directly to the public’s doorstep.
