QUETTA, Jun 20 (APP): Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday expressed happiness on Pakistan’s Hockey Team victory over France to qualify for the FIH Nations Cup final.
In his statement issued here, he said that Pakistan’s entry into the FIH Nations Cup is a testament to the team’s outstanding performance.
The CM said that the team’s performance under Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mir Tariq Khan Bugti is commendable.
He said that the prayers and good wishes of the entire nation are with the Pakistani team.
However, Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals of the FIH Nations Cup hockey tournament, advancing on goal difference despite a close 3-4 defeat to New Zealand in their final group match in Kuala Lumpur the other day.
